Qu'est-ce qu'un éduc-promeneur ?

L’éduc-promeneur est un professionnel du chien formé à proposer des balades individualisées, structurées et enrichissantes, à forte valeur éducative et comportementale.

Il intervient dans le cadre d’activités complémentaires à son travail d’éducateur canin ou en soutien du travail de consœurs ou confrères, en direct ou au sein d’une structure, selon un protocole clair, en lien étroit avec les familles et dans une posture professionnelle respectueuse des émotions du chien.

La formation pour devenir educ-promeneur s’effectue entièrement en présentiel et se déroule au Centre du Bien-Être Animal Formations, à Sonchamp près de Rambouillet dans les Yvelines (78).

L'éduc-promenade n'est pas :

  • Une garde individuelle ou collective sans préparation.
  • Une sortie mécanique dénuée d’observation.
  • Une prestation standardisée, sans adaptation à la réalité émotionnelle du chien.

Le programme de notre formation d'éduc-promeneur

JOUR 1 - Positionnement Pro et Cadre de travail

Bloc 1 : Lancer son activité d'éduc-promeneur

  • Définition de la posture professionnelle.
  • Différences avec balade collective.
  • Communication, marketing : parler de la balade éducative comportementale.
  • Travail sur le flyer et positionnement de l’offre.
  • Statuts juridiques : auto-entrepreneur, EI, structure.
  • Travailler à son compte dans une structure : avantages / limites.
  • Obligations (DDPP, RC Pro, RGPD, ).

Bloc 2 : Construire sa relation client : protocole d'entrée en relation

  • Premier appel téléphonique : que vérifier ? Que questionner ?
  • Formulaire pré-visite : ce qu’il contient, comment on l’analyse.
  • Vidéos envoyées par les familles : ce qu’on peut en déduire.
  • Planification de la visite à domicile.
  • Grille d’observation initiale.
  • Signature du contrat : ce qu’il doit contenir.

JOUR 2 - Comportement, besoins et construction des balades

Bloc 3 : Lecture comportementale et besoins du chien

  • Lecture des signaux canins (stress, confort, motivation).
  • Distinguer comportement, émotion, intention.
  • Évaluer un profil comportemental : moteur, sensible, anxieux, focus…
  • Observation de vidéos.

Bloc 4 : Concevoir une balade éducative

  • Typologie des balades : chill, flair, exploration, éducative, tricks.
  • Durée, lieu, contenu : comment on décide ?
  • Prise en compte du chien, du jour, de l’environnement.
  • Apprentissages utiles en balade :
    • Click to calm
    • Attache/détache
    • Donne/lâche
    • Maniement de longe en BAT
    • Marche connectée

JOUR 3 - Limites, difficultés et organisation matérielle

Bloc 5 : Difficultés fréquentes et solutions:

  • Le chien qui tire / qui tugue / qui réagit / qui poursuit.
  • Réactivité : humain, congénères, objets.
  • Choix des lieux, des heures, des itinéraires.
  • Adaptation de la longe / harnais / friandises / outils.

Bloc 6 : Cadre juridique et transports

  • Assurances obligatoires (RC Pro, véhicule, transport animal).
  • Transport en voiture : sécurité, confort, temps tarif.
  • Comment facturer une balade en prenant en compte le transport ?
  • Gestion multi-familles, tournées, forfaits.

JOUR 4 - Techniques pratiques - Sans chien - Visite client

Bloc 7 : Simulation de visite client

  • Déroulé d’une vraie visite.
  • Visionnage d’une vidéo complète de rencontre + balade test.
  • Débrief : lecture du binôme, communication avec la famille.
  • Grille d’observation partagée.

Bloc 8 : Ateliers pratiques sans chien

  • Mise du harnais, attache du chien, consignes de départ.
  • Posture corporelle, ancrage, ajustement au chien.
  • Maniement de longe, anticipation, voix, regard.
  • Croisement simulé.
  • Réponse à un comportement difficile simulé.

JOUR 5 - Pratique avec chien + bilan

Bloc 9 : Ateliers terrain avec chiens

  • Départ de balade.
  • Gestion d’un chien qui tire / tugue / traque/ réagit.
  • Click to calm.
  • Activités en balade (flair, tricks, pause calme).
  • Séparation douce en fin de balade.
  • Gestion de l’imprévu (vélo, jogger, chien en libre).

Bloc 10 : Clôture, retour, projection

  • Échanges en cercle : difficultés, progression, déclics.
  • Présentation de son flyer finalisé.
  • Élaboration de son kit professionnel.
  • Réflexion individuelle : planning, positionnement, prix.
  • Réponses aux dernières questions : fiscalité, communication, formation continue.

Pré-requis

Pour intégrer cette formation, les candidats doivent répondre aux conditions suivantes :

  • Avoir une formation d’éducateur canin.
  • Être titulaire de l’ACACED (Attestation de Connaissances pour les Animaux de Compagnie d’Espèces Domestiques) en cours de validité.

L’ACACED est une attestation obligatoire pour toute personne exerçant une activité professionnelle liée aux animaux de compagnie (élevage, vente, transit, garde, éducation, présentation au public). Cette certification garantit que vous disposez des connaissances fondamentales en matière de besoins biologiques, comportementaux et physiologiques des animaux.

Vlanina Mosny, fondatrice de CANIS DEI, est une éducatrice canine et comportementaliste reconnue, présidente et responsable pédagogique de l’Institut Français de Médiation Animale.

Formée en pédagogie spécialisée et en médiation animale, elle met son expertise au service du bien-être canin, avec une approche respectueuse des émotions des chiens et une sensibilité aux besoins humains.
